Elk Grove residents, friends, and neighbors,
This is a petition to the Elk Grove City Council about the City’s soon to be 5G cell antenna policy proposed by AT&T and Verizon. It makes some specific recommendations, such as asking the Council to keep cell antennas out of residential neighborhoods and away from parks, schools and libraries, and to regulate their operation, their output of electromagnetic radiation.
The petition also asks the City to create a web page to inform residents of what is on the table as of February 26, 2019, what the City is considering, what its options are, and to solicit residents’ opinion and input on the entire issue and how important it is to residents for the City to protect our health and safety, our house values, and the transparency of our permitting process.
